The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have confirmed that a drone launched by Houthi rebels in Yemen was intercepted and shot down near the Gaza-Egypt border.
The incident triggered sirens in the town of Bnei Netzarim, alerting residents of a possible aerial threat.
According to the IDF, the drone was successfully neutralized before it could cause any harm. No injuries or damage have been reported.
