Pakistan will commemorate August 14 - Pakistan's Independence Day - as a symbol of victory in the "Marka-e-Haq"( the war of truth).
As part of the revamped commemorations, a special parade and victory ceremonies are planned in the federal capital, with parallel events in all four provinces, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Officials said that preparations are in full swing, with government buildings to be adorned with illuminations, patriotic motifs, and themed floats representing key moments of national struggle.
Special anthems and speeches have also been composed to mark the occasion, while school and college programmes will incorporate newly developed narratives highlighting the significance of the “victory.”
ISPR releases new patriotic song
In connection with the Independence Day festivities, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has released a new patriotic song titled “Dil Se Pakistan.” The anthem pays tribute to the sacrifices of the martyrs and salutes the resilience of the Pakistani people and armed forces.
According to the military’s media wing, Dil Se Pakistan serves as a heartfelt ode to the nation’s unwavering resolve in the “war of truth” and reflects a collective commitment to sovereignty, security, and national pride.
Accompanied by stirring visuals and emotionally charged lyrics, the song highlights the role of the armed forces in defending the homeland and preserving the ideals upon which the country was founded. It also underscores the broader themes of unity, stability, and national progress, resonating with citizens across the country.
“The spirit of Dil Se Pakistan is aligned with the theme of this year’s Independence Day — a celebration not just of freedom, but of national character and commitment,” an ISPR official said.
