Pakistan’s campaign in the World Junior Team Squash Championship came to an end following a 2–0 defeat inflicted by England in the quarter-finals.
In the opening match of the knockout round, Dylan Roberts secured victory for England by defeating Pakistan’s Anas Ali Shah in straight games: 11–7, 11–6, 11–5. In the second tie, Alexander Broadbridge overcame Abdullah Nawaz with a 3–0 scoreline, winning 14–12, 11–2, 11–9.

With this result, Pakistan have been eliminated from the title race. The national team will now compete in the classification play-offs for positions five to eight, where they are scheduled to face the Czech Republic.
The tournament is currently taking place in Cairo.
