The price of gold in Pakistan and globally witnessed a massive decline on Thursday.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola saw a huge drop of Rs5,900 on Thursday to reach Rs359,000. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs5,058, taking it to Rs307,784.

The global gold market also witnessed a big change, with the price of gold per ounce declining by a massive $61 to reach $3,363.
The silver prices in Pakistan also followed the declining trend, with the price of a tola of 24-karat silver dropping to Rs4,057, and the price for 10 grams of silver to Rs3,478.
