Pakistan and Bangladesh will face off today in the first match of a three-match T20I series at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. The game will start at 5 pm PKT, with the toss scheduled for 4:30 pm.
This marks Pakistan’s first tour of Bangladesh since December 2021. The visitors arrived in Dhaka on July 16 after completing an extensive training camp in Karachi. Salman Ali Agha will lead the Pakistan side, featuring two uncapped pacers, Ahmed Daniyal and Mohammad Salman Mirza, who are in line for potential international debuts.
Pakistan had previously whitewashed Bangladesh in a home series earlier this year, while Bangladesh enters this contest after a 2-1 T20I series win against Sri Lanka.

Pakistan holds a dominant record over Bangladesh in T20Is, winning 19 of the 22 encounters between the two sides since their first meeting in 2007.
Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha said the team is ready to adapt to the conditions, aiming for aggressive cricket when possible. He acknowledged Bangladesh’s strength at home but expressed excitement for the series.
The remaining two T20Is will be played on May 22 and 24 at the same venue.
