Former England captain Michael Vaughan has lamented the International Cricket Council's (ICC) decision for penalising only England for a slow over-rate during the third Test against India at Lord’s.
Vaughan took to the social media platform X to express his frustration, despite both teams [England and India] recording poor over rates during the match.
Let’s be honest both teams over rates at Lords were very very poor .. How only 1 team has been reprimanded is beyond me .. #ENGvsIND

“Let’s be honest, both teams’ over rates at Lord’s were very, very poor. How only one team has been reprimanded is beyond me,” Vaughan wrote.

It is pertinent to note that England were fined 10% match fees on Wednesday for their slow over rate in the third Test against the Shubman Gill-led India at Lord's.
