Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry has accused India of fueling terrorism in Balochistan through proxy elements, vowing that Pakistan’s security forces are capable of eliminating such threats.
Speaking at a press conference in Faisalabad, Talal Chaudhry said the PTI founder and leaders have failed to condemn Israeli aggression, questioning their silence on global atrocities. He criticized KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur for visiting Lahore but not paying respects to the families of martyrs.
He emphasized that Punjab and Sindh have active institutions to counter terrorism, while questioning who was responsible for establishing similar structures in KP and Balochistan.
Talal Chaudhry also pointed out that 70 percent of the gas produced in Balochistan is consumed by its residents, yet when pipelines are blown up, it is the locals who suffer. He challenged terrorists to confront security forces instead of targeting soft targets like schoolchildren, adding that such acts do not reflect Baloch traditions.
Referring to Operation Sindoor, he warned that India will remember its defeat in history, highlighting the daily sacrifices of Pakistan’s security personnel, with an average of three martyrs and five injured each day.
Chaudhry reiterated that he visited on the instructions of the Prime Minister and the Interior Minister. He revealed that Majid, martyred in Zhob, was a businessman in Balochistan.
He stressed that Punjabis have not only contributed financially but also shed blood for national integrity, stating that mothers in Punjab have welcomed the coffins of their martyred sons with dignity.
"Those who kill are not Baloch but Indian proxies. The dead are not just Punjabis; they are Pakistanis," Chaudhry said. He warned against efforts to ignite ethnic conflict, asserting that terrorism has no religion and that Pakistan's forces are fully capable of crushing such conspiracies.
He reminded India once attacked directly and faced defeat, and is now resorting to proxy terrorism in Balochistan, but will meet the same fate.
