The training camp for Pakistan’s red-ball squad was postponed due to the ongoing monsoon rainfall.
According to details, the Pakistan Test cricketers were asked to report at the camp on July 14. The training camp for the cricketers was slated to begin from the next week.
Sources privy to the development said the purpose of holding the session was to train the backup players.
It was expected that now the training camp will begin from the last week of July due to the more rainfall predictions.
It is pertinent to note that South Africa will take on Pakistan in a two-match Test series in October-November.
