The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) denounced on Tuesday significant hike in the petrol price.
According to details, PTI leader Sheikh Waqas Akram said: "The transport fares will be increased due to surge in the petrol price." He lashed out at the Punjab government, saying, "The plunderers are ruling Punjab; that is why action was taken against those who are opposing the budget."

"The Punjab government is spending money on advertisements for flour bags. Money is available to clean the roads with rose water, but not for the uplift of the hospitals," said Akram.
He lamented that 20 children passed away at Sahiwal DHQ Hospital, adding that the patients who were undergoing treatment were discharged. "The health card services were suspended from July," Akram added.
Meanwhile, former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry, MPA Imtiaz Sheikh and Moonis Elahi have lamented the renaming of the Jinnah Institute of Cardiology to the Maryam Nawaz Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases.
