A tragic shooting incident occurred in the Shabqadar area of Charsadda where armed assailants opened fire on a family, killing a husband, wife, and their young daughter, police said.
According to initial reports, the incident took place near the Dila Zak Bypass within the jurisdiction of the SRO police station. The attack was reportedly linked to a family dispute.
Police officials confirmed that the victims, identified as Nematullah, his wife Samina, and their minor daughter Salwa, were residents of Nahqi, Peshawar.
The family had been returning from a dinner invitation at the home of Nematullah's brother-in-law when the assailants ambushed them.
Police have shifted the bodies to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Shabqadar for further legal procedures, while a search operation is underway to apprehend the suspects involved in the attack.
