Rescue officials have recovered the body of Daniyal, a child from Mardan, near Charsadda, following the Swat River incident. This recovery has raised the total death toll to 12.
According to Rescue 1122, the search for another missing child from Sialkot is still ongoing. Water rescue teams, under the supervision of the District Emergency Officer Swat, continue to carry out search operations at possible recovery points along the river.
Earlier, the search operation for two missing individuals who were swept away by a flash flood in the Swat River is ongoing for the third consecutive day, according to District Emergency Officer Rafiullah Marwat.
Rescue 1122 teams are actively engaged in the search at various points along the river. Rafiullah Marwat confirmed that out of the 13 people who were swept away, 11 bodies have been recovered so far.
The deceased and missing individuals belonged to Daska, Sialkot, and Mardan. Rescue 1122 has deployed 60 personnel to the operation as efforts continue to locate the remaining two missing persons.
