Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar said on Friday that Iran had thanked Pakistan’s role during war against Israel.
Speaking to media, the foreign minister said: “Iran had said that it will give befitting response to Israel. Iran had targeted the United States airbase in Qatar. Iran had already informed Qatar that it was not attacking the Gulf country but the US airbase.”
“The things would have been moved forward beyond Iran if that escalation had not been stopped. The condemnation was done over the Israeli attacks on Iran, Syria and Lebanon during the visit to Istanbul,” Dar.
