Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Urban Mobility Authority has announced a fare hike for the Peshawar Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system, increasing the per-stop fare by Rs10.
The revised fares will take effect on July 1.
According to an official statement, the fare adjustment has been made due to rising inflation. The Transport Department stated that the increase is necessary to help reduce the financial losses faced by the BRT project.
