The Balochistan government spokesperson said on Sunday that there was no petrol crisis in Quetta.
According to details, the spokesperson claimed that rumours of a fuel shortage were being deliberately spread by individuals involved in the illegal trade of petrol.
Illegal petrol pumps pose serious security risks and increase the likelihood of accidents, the spokesperson warned.
"In the past month alone, 28 incidents have occurred at such unauthorised petrol stations," they added.
Accidents have been reported in various locations, including Airport Road and Hazarganji.
The Balochistan government has stated that strict action is being taken against petrol smuggling.
