Pakistan on Friday strongly condemned the Israeli military’s early morning airstrikes on Iran, calling the attack an “unacceptable” violation of international law and a grave threat to regional peace and stability.
In an official statement, the Foreign Office expressed deep concern over what it described as a clear breach of Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, saying the Israeli assault was “unjustified and contrary to the principles of the United Nations Charter.”
“Pakistan strongly condemns Israel’s military strikes inside Iranian territory. These actions are a blatant violation of international law and the UN Charter,” the FO spokesperson said. “Iran, as a sovereign nation, has every right to defend itself under Article 51 of the UN Charter.”
The statement further urged the international community to take immediate notice of the situation and prevent further escalation in an already volatile region.
Echoing the Foreign Office’s stance, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar also issued a stern condemnation of the Israeli action. In a message posted on X (formerly Twitter), Dar wrote:
“Strongly condemn unjustified Israeli attacks on Islamic Republic of Iran which is a brazen violation of Iran’s sovereignty. This abhorrent action has shaken foundations of international law as well as conscience of humanity, and gravely undermines regional stability and international security. Pakistan stands in solidarity with the Government and the people of Iran.”

The Israeli airstrikes, which Tel Aviv claimed were “preemptive and precise,” targeted key locations in Tehran and reportedly resulted in the deaths of several Iranian military officials, including senior commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The attacks have drawn widespread condemnation across the Muslim world, with Iran vowing a strong and calculated response.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and Armed Forces spokesperson Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi both warned of “severe punishment” for Israel, accusing it of committing a “grave crime” with the support of the United States.
