Inspector General of Police (IG) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi issued on Sunday directives to intensify action against one-wheeling and reckless driving.
According to details, IG Rizvi said: "Illegal activities on roads will no longer be tolerated." He instructed all officers to maintain strict supervision and continue crackdowns in their respective areas. "Families visiting recreational spots must be provided with all necessary facilities," he added.
He said: "More than 1,500 police personnel remain deployed even on the second day of Eid, with 300 traffic officers actively ensuring smooth traffic flow."
"At Daman-e-Koh and Lake View Park, families will be allowed access, but youngsters will be prohibited from entering restricted areas," he maintained.
He urged citizens to avoid such illegal behaviour and in any emergency, call the 15 helpline immediately.
