The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has maintained its lead in the unofficial results announced so far for the Gilgit-Baltistan elections.
Complete results have been received from seven constituencies in Gilgit-Baltistan. According to the results, the PPP secured victory in four constituencies, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) won one seat, while independent candidates emerged successful in two constituencies.
According to details, PPP candidate Akhtar Ali won from GBA-4, while PPP's Tauqeer Mehdi secured victory in GBA-7 and PPP's Iqbal Hassan won from GBA-11.
Moreover, PPP leader Zulfiqar Murad has emerged victorious by clinching 2,628 votes. Meanwhile, independent candidate Riyaz Akbar has secured the second position after garnering 2,394 votes.
Meanwhile, PML-N candidate Muhammad Ibrahim Sanai was successful in GBA-22. Independent candidate Anwar Ali won from GBA-23, while independent candidate Asad Shafiq secured victory in GBA-24.
