An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore issued on Thursday non-bailable arrest warrants for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Aliya Hamza in connection with the Jinnah House attack case.
According to details, the court dismissed Hamza’s request for exemption from personal appearance, citing insufficient grounds. The court also cancelled her bail surety bonds.
Aliya Hamza had filed an application seeking exemption from appearance due to concerns about being arrested from Kot Lakhpat jail.
An ATC rejected the plea and proceeded to issue non-bailable arrest warrants. The case has been adjourned until the next hearing date.
