Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz chaired a cabinet meeting in Lahore and approved Rs400 million grant for land acquisition by RUDA (Ravi Urban Development Authority) for Phase 2 of the Punjab Journalist Housing Foundation.
The grant transfer received immediate approval from the cabinet.
Senior Minister Maryam Aurangzeb, Information Minister Azma Bukhari, and other cabinet members attended the meeting.
Information Minister Azma Bukhari presented the case, which was swiftly endorsed by CM Maryam Nawaz and the cabinet.
The cabinet also approved the overhaul of the Punjab government’s helicopter, the Punjab Senior Citizens Welfare Bill, and the Child Protection Policy.
