He also called the international organization a symbol of a new era of diplomacy and mediation.
In his speech, Dar emphasized the importance of the UN Charter and international law in maintaining global peace, while expressing concern over growing unilateralism and militarism in the region. "We believe that the principles of the United Nations Charter will be strictly adhered to and Security Council resolutions implemented sincerely. Peace, security, and global prosperity can be promoted in accordance with international law," he emphasised.
Dar also condemned India’s recent unprovoked military aggression, labeling it a blatant violation of international law and a serious threat to regional and global peace.
“The unresolved dispute over Jammu and Kashmir and the foreign occupation of Palestine continue to be major obstacles to peace and stability,” Dar said. He added that violations of international treaties, including the Indus Waters Treaty of 1960, reflect a dangerous pattern of unilateral actions by India.

It is our collective responsibility to uphold international agreements and foster diplomatic solutions.” He added that right now, the unilateral forces of populism, ultra-nationalism are fully active.
"Instead of dialogue and mediation, conflicts and divisive rhetoric dominate the headlines," he stated.
