Sindh senior minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has lashed out at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, saying the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) narrative was filled with noise, lies and U-turns.
Expressing his thoughts, Memon had urged him to refrain from making derogatory comments about Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. "The politics of Ali Amin Gandapur and his party are based on decline, falsehoods, and baseless allegations,” he said.
Criticising the PTI's stance on protests, Memon said, “Using the cover of the Red Zone to justify shelling on peaceful protesters is an undemocratic and fascist act. When protestors are peaceful, there’s no SOP that allows shelling — such actions reflect a dictatorial mindset.”
He said, “Those who once broke through containers in Islamabad now pose as guardians of the Red Zone’s boundaries.”
Memon accused the PTI followers of blind allegiance to a leader who has personalised and polarised national politics. “The PTI founder faces numerous allegations — financial, moral, and constitutional.”
He said, “The same people who emerged from the system’s womb are now accusing that very system of betrayal.”
