Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP), Rana Mashhood said on Friday that Pakistan has demonstrated its strength not only in defence but also in the field of technology.
Speaking to media in Lahore, Mashhood remarked: “It is a matter of pride for Pakistan that we have proved ourselves in defence. The world now recognises that Pakistan is significantly ahead in the field of technology.”
He added, “We will increase the defence budget, if necessary.” Mashhood also expressed confidence in the government’s ability to handle future challenges, saying: “We will overcome all other issues just as we managed the inflation crisis and dealings with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).”
“We have dismantled India’s system,” said Mashhood.
