Islamabad High Court (IHC) scheduled on Tuesday a hearing on the petition seeking the release of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan on parole.
According to details, the petition was submitted by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, requesting the court to release the PTI founder on parole in light of the current circumstances.
The acting Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court, Justice Sarfraz Dogar, will preside over the hearing tomorrow.

Earlier, the IHC Registrar's Office on Sunday returned the parole application seeking the release of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, citing multiple legal and procedural objections.
The petition, filed a day earlier by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, requested the temporary release of the former prime minister on parole. However, the Registrar's Office pointed out that the application was not submitted by the “affected person” himself, questioning how someone else could seek such relief on another’s behalf.
One of the key objections raised was the omission of Imran Khan as a party in the petition despite the fact that the relief sought pertained directly to him. The Registrar’s Office also noted that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) — the convicting authority in Khan’s case — had not been made a party to the application.
