Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi on Tuesday announced the revival of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10, stating that the tournament will resume from May 17 to May 25.
His announcement, however, was accompanied by a pointed dig at India in the backdrop of recent regional tensions.
Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) account, Mr Naqvi wrote, “The league is starting again from where it stopped — 6 teams, 0 fear,” referencing Pakistan’s claim of shooting down six Indian aircraft earlier this month.
According to the Pakistan military, the country had shot down three Rafale jets, a Sukhoi SU-30, a MiG-29, and an Indian drone on the night between May 6 and 7, following what officials described as a breach of airspace. No Pakistani aircraft was reported to be lost in the exchange. Indian officials have yet to respond to the claims.

The PSL 10 was postponed during the flare-up in tensions, with the PCB citing national security concerns. Mr Naqvi, however, said that the board was now ready to bring back cricket with full force.
“We are once again going to celebrate the spirit of cricket,” he said in a statement. “I express my best wishes to all the participating teams and the fans who have waited patiently.”
The remaining eight matches of the tournament will be played between May 17 and 25 in Lahore and Karachi, under heightened sec
