The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has cancelled the Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) regarding the closure of routes in Lahore's airspace, restoring 15 air routes for regular air operations.
According to details, the decision facilitates smoother air traffic management and resumption of full flight schedules.
India shuts 27 airports amid fears of Pakistani retaliation
Meanwhile, India has closed 27 airports to flight operations as a precautionary measure amid fears of a retaliatory attack from Pakistan.
According to reports, the number of closed airports has risen from 11 to 27, and the suspension of operations will remain in place until 10 May. As a result, 430 flights operated by Indian airlines have been cancelled today.
Among the affected airports are Amritsar, Jammu, Shimla, Bhuj, Rajkot, Jaisalmer, and Jodhpur. Commercial flights have also been suspended at Chandigarh and Pathankot airports.
India has additionally halted commercial operations at Bathinda, Dharamsala, and Porbandar airports. Jamnagar and Srinagar airports are closed, as are Leh and Tezpur airports.
Further closures include Patiala, Halwara, Gaggal, Bhuntar, Kishangarh, Bikaner, Gwalior, and Hindon airports.
Mundra, Kandla, Keshod, and Ludhiana airports have also been closed until 10 May.
