Rawalpindi authorities imposed Section 144 until November 26, in response to the PTI founder's call for a protest in Islamabad on November 24.
Section 144 has now been imposed in Rawalpindi till November 26.
All kinds of gatherings, processions, rallies, and gatherings of more than four people are prohibited.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan claimed on Wednesday that the deposed premier will lead the November 24 protest following his bail in the Toshakhana 2 case.
Expressing her thoughts, Aleema said, "I am still not having a belief that Imran Khan has granted really. I am confirming about his [PTI founder’s] bail frequently.”
“There still exists a fear that the PTI founder will be arrested in any other case,” she said.

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has granted bail to PTI Founder Imran Khan in Toshakhana 2 case.
Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb granted bail to Imran Khan. Defence lawyer Salman Safdar said that the statement read out was recorded by the NAB investigation officer, adding that now the matter had gone to the FIA.
The FIA prosecutor said statements under Section 164 are recorded before a magistrate. Justice Aurangzeb said that after the law changed, the case went from the NAB to FIA. "What action was taken against the three Customs officers who calculated the wrong price?" asked the court.
The FIA prosecutor said Customs officers committed negligence, but it did not constitute criminal misconduct. "The NAB did not recommend any departmental action against those officers," he added.
