The Peshawar High Court has granted transitory bail to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur until October 25 in connection with two cases filed against him in Islamabad.
The bail comes as Gandapur gears up for a major protest at Islamabad's D-Chowk as part of the party's ongoing struggle for "real freedom."
While speaking to the media, Gandapur emphasized that his destination remained D-Chowk and that he will continue to lead the protest unless directed otherwise by PTI Founder Imran Khan.
“We will not stop until there is an order from the founder,” he reiterated, urging citizens to join the movement in defense of the constitution and for what he described as "real freedom".

Gandapur had filed a petition in the Peshawar High Court seeking bail due to fears of arrest as cases have been registered against him in Islamabad. The application stated that the chief minister wished to appear in the courts concerned, but there was a fear of arrest.
Earlier, while speaking in a TV show, Gandapur had said that their preparation was complete and the party's protest was going to be peaceful. However, he warned that whoever resorted to violence on their rally would be responsible for the consequences.
"The order of our founding leader is a red line for me," he emphasized. He also insisted that he should not be contacted for any negotiations, adding: "I have no authority to postpone the protest."
He further said that he would continue to advance on Islamabad till party leader instructs otherwise. "Even if I am left alone, I will move ahead," he stressed.
