The Interior Ministry department removed the name of the former chief minister of Punjab Pervez Elahi from the passport Control List (PCL) along with the names of Rasakh Elahi and Zara Elahi. were also removed from the list.
The public prosecutor submitted the report to the authorities and informed the Lahore High Court. Justice Shams Mehmood Mirza heard the petitions of Pervaizalhi and others
The court disposed of the petitions in the light of the public advocate's report
“Despite the court orders, the name is not being removed from the passport and ECL list,” the petition reads.
The court ordered contempt of court action against the officers.
