The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued orders restraining the trial court from delivering its final verdict of £190 million case of PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi as the case is already pending in the high court.
The IHC removed objections and issued notices to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) scheduling a hearing for September 26
The IHC Chief Justice Aamir Farooq and Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb heard the acquittal petitions filed by the founder of PTI and Bushra Bibi. The IHC has directed the lawyers representing PTI’s founder and Bushra Bibi to submit relevant documents related to the case.
The trial court has been instructed to continue proceedings and the court has been barred from pronouncing a final decision until the Islamabad High Court (IHC) concludes its hearings on the acquittal requests.
The case has been adjourned until September 26, where the acquittal petitions of PTI’s founder and Bushra Bibi will be further deliberated.
