FC Balochistan (North), in collaboration with other agencies, has launched relief operations in flood-affected areas of Balochistan. Recent heavy rains have caused floods, impacting the districts of Dera Bugti, Sohbatpur, Sui, Dera Allah Yar, and surrounding regions.
In Sohbatpur district, the breach in the Och Link Canal was swiftly filled, and local residents were relocated to safer areas. FC Balochistan established free medical camps for the flood victims and distributed free ration packages to needy families.
In Sui and Dera Bugti, many houses and roofs were damaged due to the rains. The FC provided tents and rations to the affected individuals. Meanwhile, in Dera Allah Yar, the breach in the Canal Sim Shakh was promptly repaired, and the victims were supplied with cooked food and clean water.
Necessary machinery and equipment were also dispatched to the flood-prone Hunnah Orak rainwater drain in anticipation of possible flooding.
