A case of alleged gang rape of a second-year student has been registered in the Alipur Chattha area of Wazirabad. The chief minister has vowed that the culprits will be punished.
After registering a case, the police took action and arrested one of the two suspects. The search for his accomplice is going on, while according to the police, a case has been registered on the application of the girl's father.
The applicant told the police that his daughter had gone to college to give a paper when the suspects kidnapped her. They later subjected her to gang-rape and even recorded videos. The culprits kept calling the girl again by blackmailing her using the videos.
On the other hand, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz took notice of the incident and asked for a report from the police chief, saying that the culprits will not go unpunished.
