Former England captain Michael Vaughan, who is known for his "straight forward" opinions, had picked up his favourites for the forthcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2024.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Vaughan wrote: " My four semi-finalists for the T20 World Cup are England, Austria,South Africa, and the West Indies."
Excluding the Asian teams from the list of semi-finalists invited the wrath of fans from countries like India and Pakistan.
One of the fans from India took a swipe at Vaughan, saying, "We all know your prediction game. You didn't mention India, that's good for India."
The hosts, United States will lock horns against Canada to launch the mega event, which will feature 20 teams for the first time in the tournament's history.
