There is no doubt that India continue to produce talented batters, but one cannot neglect the importance of seasoned batter Virat Kohli, who always looks to score runs.
Kohli had played an excellent knock, notching up an unbeaten and blistering 72-ball 113 for Royal Challengers Bengaluru against Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur to power his team to an imposing 183-3.
In his scintillating knock, Kohli had smashed 12 boundaries and four towering sixes.
He had scored runs with a solid strike rate of 156.94.
This was Kohli’s eighth tonne in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
