Indian singer Sonu Nigam surprised fans after sharing a video of himself singing Mohammed Rafi’s classic Suhani Raat Dhal Chuki while undergoing surgery.
The singer was on the operating table when he began singing the 1949 song from the film 'Dulari' for his doctors and medical team. The unexpected performance reportedly brought a lighter moment to the procedure and left those around him surprised.
Nigam later explained that the surgery was being performed to treat a recurring growth on his left ring finger. He said the decision to sing was not planned and that the moment “just happened organically.”
