The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Karachi Division has suspended the membership of Haider Umrani, who was arrested in a call centre case.
Action was taken against Haider Umrani over allegations of party-opposing activities on social media. PPP Karachi Division General Secretary Rauf Ahmed Nagori issued the suspension notification.
Haider Umrani had contested the Sindh Assembly election from PS-100 on a PPP ticket. He was arrested by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) 20 days ago.
