Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani stressed on Friday the importance of continuing talks between the United States and Iran.
The Qatari Foreign Minister held a telephone conversation with Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty. According to Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two leaders discussed the latest regional situation and ongoing diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions.

The Qatar's prime minister said that matters agreed under the memorandum of understanding between Iran and the US should be implemented.
