Pakistan women's captain Fatima Sana will feature only in the ODI series against Sri Lanka before leaving for England to participate in The Hundred, sources said on Monday.
The all-rounder will not be available for the subsequent three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka.
According to sources, Fatima Sana will remain with the national side for the ODI leg of the Sri Lanka tour.
After completing the ODI series, she is expected to travel to England to join her franchise team for The Hundred.
T20I series set to be missed
Sources said the Pakistan captain will not take part in the three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka due to her commitments in England.
Her departure will come shortly after the conclusion of the ODI fixtures.
Fatima Sana has become the first Pakistani woman cricketer to be signed by a team in The Hundred.
She secured a contract with Birmingham Phoenix during the ICC Women's T20 World Cup, marking a significant achievement for Pakistan women's cricket.
The 2026 edition of The Hundred is scheduled to run from July 21 to August 16.
Fatima Sana is expected to join Birmingham Phoenix ahead of the tournament's opening matches.
