Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Thursday discussed regional developments with his Saudi counterpart, Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, during a telephone conversation, with both sides expressing satisfaction over the progress made in recent mediation efforts.
According to an official statement, the two foreign ministers reviewed the regional situation, focusing in particular on the latest round of mediation talks held in Doha.
Dar and Faisal bin Farhan welcomed the positive developments achieved during the negotiations and expressed hope that the dialogue would continue in the near future.

The Saudi foreign minister also praised Pakistan's efforts to implement the memorandum of understanding reached in Islamabad, acknowledging Islamabad's role in advancing the diplomatic process.
The two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to remaining in close contact and supporting efforts aimed at promoting regional peace and stability through continued dialogue and cooperation.
