The suspects arrested in the human organ smuggling case were produced before a court. The court handed the arrested suspects over to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on four days' physical remand.
The duty magistrate approved the FIA's request for four days' physical remand to continue the investigation. Moreover, the FIA had sought physical remand for further questioning of the suspects.
Court directs FIA to reproduce suspects after remand
The court directed the FIA to produce the suspects again upon completion of the remand period.
It is pertinent to note that the FIA carried out an operation in Islamabad's Sector F-7/1 and arrested five suspects allegedly involved in human organ smuggling.
Human organs and alleged human flesh were recovered from a residential house during the raid. The material recovered has been sent for forensic examination as part of the investigation.
