Hunger, poverty and food insecurity are unpleasant realities that millions of less fortunate people must deal with. Meat is a luxury to them, which they eat once or twice in a year, and it is not a part of their regular meals either.
Minhaj Welfare Foundation is continuing its efforts to ensure that the real spirit of sacrifice reaches the needy who can have an opportunity to come together in celebrating the important event of Eid al-Azha.
Minhaj Welfare Foundation is a humanitarian aid organisation providing food relief, emergency assistance, healthcare, education, sustainable development, and livelihood support to underprivileged communities. Through its ongoing efforts, the organisation is helping families triumph over poverty and adversity to build resilient communities.
Across many parts of the world, rising poverty levels, inflation, economic instability, natural disasters, and ongoing conflicts have left millions of people facing immense hardship. Communities already living in poverty have been disproportionately affected, with countless families displaced from their homes, livelihoods destroyed, and vital infrastructure severely damaged. From flood-affected regions and drought-stricken communities to areas impacted by conflict and economic uncertainty, vulnerable families continue to struggle to secure even the most basic necessities of life.
Minhaj Welfare Foundation continued with its biggest HelpFeed campaign this year as well, under which its dedicated team carried out this sacred duty of sacrifice with utmost care and diligence. In accordance with and compliance to the Islamic law and principles of Shariah, all the sacrifices are conducted according to the requests and intentions of the numerous donors trusting the organisation to carry out the sacrifice on behalf of themselves, their loved ones and even for their departed family members.
The meat was carefully cleaned, prepared, and stored in hygienic environments before being thoughtfully portioned and packed for distribution. Every effort was made to preserve its freshness and maintain its quality before being delivered to those in need.
The dedicated teams and volunteers of Minhaj Welfare Foundation worked diligently to deliver 2.25 million qurbanis to deserving families and individuals across various locations and underserved regions throughout Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. The distributions reached widows, elderly individuals, orphaned children, people living with disabilities, families displaced by natural disasters and conflict, and households facing severe food insecurity. In homes where celebrations may otherwise have been overshadowed by hardship and uncertainty, the spirit of Eid was able to shine through once again.
The consistent generosity of donors and supporters who continue to have faith in the humanitarian efforts of the Minhaj Welfare Foundation lies behind every delivery of the meat. Their empathy makes it possible for the organisation to keep helping families going through difficulties and reaching underserved communities.
The Minhaj Welfare Foundation remains dedicated to helping people with honesty and kindness as we celebrate Eid al-Azha today. The organisation continues to strive toward a future where distressed and poverty-stricken communities are strengthened, dignity is upheld, and no one is left behind in times of hardship.
