Saudi Arabia has made the establishment of a Palestinian state a condition for normalising relations with Israel.
According to American television network CNN, a Saudi official said relations with Israel would only be established once the path towards a Palestinian state had been cleared.
The Saudi official said there had been no change in Riyadh’s policy regarding Palestine.
Earlier, United States President Donald Trump had said Saudi Arabia and Qatar should join the agreement without delay, while other countries should gradually be brought into the arrangement.
He also said Iran could be considered for inclusion in the accords after an agreement is reached.
