Arab media outlets have claimed that efforts to finalize a United States-Iran agreement have entered a decisive stage.
The reports suggest the deal may be announced soon as regional diplomatic engagements intensify. However, no official confirmation has been issued by Washington or Tehran.
Al-Arabiya, reports said that serious efforts are underway to finalize the draft agreement between the United States and Iran.
According to these reports, the final version of the deal is nearing completion, with an announcement expected in the near future. Some reports even suggest that the announcement could come within hours as negotiations reach a critical point.
The development, however, remains unverified by official sources.
Pakistan linked to ongoing diplomatic activity
The reports further claim that an important Pakistani figure may travel to Iran as part of ongoing diplomatic engagement linked to the negotiations.
Mohsin Naqvi has recently been engaged in back-to-back visits to Tehran, where he held meetings with Iranian leadership on the evolving US-Iran talks.
During his engagements, Naqvi met senior Iranian officials including President Masoud Pezeshkian, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, and other key figures involved in the diplomatic process.
Claims of Islamabad as next venue for talks
Arab media sources also report that the next round of negotiations between Washington and Tehran could be held in Islamabad after the Hajj season.
The reports suggest that regional diplomatic channels are being explored as part of efforts to sustain momentum in the talks, though this has not been officially confirmed.
According to multiple reports, Naqvi recently arrived in Tehran for a second visit within a short span, reflecting ongoing diplomatic activity between Pakistan and Iran.
Separately, some media outlets claim that Pakistan’s Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir may also travel to Iran, where an announcement regarding the agreement’s final draft could potentially be made.
