Iranian military has warned that if an adversary again falls into Israeli trap and commits fresh aggression against Iran, the armed forces will respond under a new front and revised military strategy.
Military spokesperson Brigadier General Mohammad Akrami issued the warning while addressing a public gathering at Vali Asr Square in Tehran. He stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran cannot be placed under siege nor defeated. He added that if the enemy repeats what he termed a “mistake” and comes under the influence of Zionist elements to launch an attack, Iran would respond through new weapons and different methods.
Brigadier General Mohammad Akrami stated that Iranian armed forces have continued to strengthen their defensive and military capabilities, treating even periods of ceasefire as part of wartime conditions.
On the situation in the Strait of Hormuz, the Iranian military spokesperson claimed that Iran holds full control over the key waterway and that conditions there would not return to the previous state. He stated that the only path for the adversary is respect for the legal rights of the Iranian nation and the Islamic Republic.
Reports said that Iran has also developed a new mechanism for managing maritime activity in the Strait of Hormuz. Iranian authorities maintain that the ceasefire remains in place, while monitoring of regional conditions and naval activity continues.
