US President Donald Trump has once again launched a sharp attack on American media outlets over their coverage of the ongoing Iran-related conflict.
In a post on his Truth Social platform, he accused major news organizations of distorting battlefield narratives.
In his statement, Trump criticized several prominent media organizations, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, CNN, and what he described as “all other members of the Fake News Media.”
He alleged that these outlets were presenting misleading narratives about the US role and performance in the Iran war coverage.
Claims over Iran war coverage
Trump wrote that even in the event of Iran’s surrender or defeat, some media outlets would still frame the situation as a “victory” for Tehran over the United States.
He accused the media of intentionally shaping headlines to undermine the US position and public perception.
The post did not reference specific news reports that triggered his remarks.
The US president also criticized the Democratic Party, referring to them as “Dumacrats,” and claimed both Democrats and media outlets had “lost their way.”
He further described their reporting as “crazy,” intensifying his long-standing conflict with mainstream media organizations.
