Samsung has started the global rollout of its stable One UI 8.5 update for the Galaxy S24 series.
The update, based on Android 16 QPR2, is now reaching users in multiple regions after its initial launch in South Korea.
Samsung initially released the update for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra in its home market, South Korea.
Soon after, the rollout expanded to the United States, and the company has now begun distributing it globally, starting with Europe.
Based on Samsung’s typical software release pattern, the update is expected to reach other major markets, including India, in the coming days.

Users can manually check for the update by following these steps:
Settings > Software update > Download and install
If available in your region, the update can be installed directly from the device settings.
