The Iran’s Foreign Ministry has accused the United States and Israel of deliberately creating instability in key global energy corridors and later placing the blame on Iran.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei said the United States and Israel claim to safeguard peace and stability in global energy markets, but the reality was otherwise. He said such narratives were being used to justify 'unlawful' military actions against Iran.
Baqaei has said the war-driven policies of the United States and Israel had damaged diplomatic efforts and heightened tensions in vital regional energy routes through what he termed unjustified military action against Iran. He added that the same situation was later attributed to Iran.
The spokesman further said the United States and Israel first create crises and a war-like atmosphere and then seek justification for further measures in the name of restoring peace and stability.
