The price of gold in Pakistan and the global market witnessed a third consecutive decline on Monday.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by a massive Rs5,300, bringing the new rate to Rs488,362, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs4,544, settling at Rs418,691. Also, the price of 10 grammes of 22-karat gold saw a drop of Rs4,165 to be sold for Rs383,814.

International gold prices
The downward movement was not limited to Pakistan. In the global bullion market, gold fell by just $53, reaching $4,660 per ounce.
Silver prices in Pakistan
Meanwhile, silver prices did not see any change. The price of 24-karat silver per tola remained stable at Rs8,513. Similarly, 10 grams of silver also remained unchanged at Rs7,298.
