Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said Iran was prepared for negotiations under wisdom and national interest.
According to details surfaced on Monday, he said Iran had three possible paths before it. The first path, he said, was negotiations with dignity. President Pezeshkian said the second path was to maintain a situation of neither war nor peace.
He said the third path for Iran was to adopt confrontation and heightened tension.
The Iranian president said Tehran wished to pursue diplomacy with dignity and strength. He said the success achieved on the battlefield would be completed through negotiations.
President Pezeshkian said the rights of the Iranian people would be secured with strength and dignity.
He added that Iran sought an agreement in line with the aspirations of the Iranian people.
