A dignified ceremony was held at the martyrs’ memorial in Bahawalpur Garrison to mark the anniversary of the Battle of Truth.
The Bahawalpur corps commander laid a floral wreath at the martyrs’ memorial and offered Fateha in tribute to the martyrs of the Battle of Truth.
A smartly turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Army presented a salute during the ceremony, while special prayers were offered for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks and for the country’s security, stability and prosperity.
Rallies and public gatherings were also held across the country to mark one year of the Battle of Truth. Members of the public paid rich tribute to the Pakistan Army, while large crowds joined the “Bunyan-un-Marsoos Marka-e-Haq” rallies and raised slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad”.
