A Higher Education Department Islamabad employee, his wife and two young children were allegedly kidnapped from Lahore Railway Station, according to a case registered at Naulakha Police Station.
The family has been missing since June 2, and despite efforts to trace them, no information about their whereabouts has emerged so far, according to the complainant.
Police have registered a case regarding the alleged abduction of Hafiz Zeeshan and his family at Naulakha Police Station.
According to the FIR, Hafiz Zeeshan is a resident of Haripur and works as a messenger in the Higher Education Department, Islamabad. The report states that he was allegedly kidnapped along with his wife and two children from Lahore Railway Station on June 2.
The case was formally registered on June 4.
Family was travelling to Haripur
According to details included in the FIR, Hafiz Zeeshan had arrived at Lahore Railway Station with his family to travel to their native area, Haripur. The family included his wife, his two-year-old son Zaviar and his six-year-old child Zorain.
The FIR states that the family was at the railway station when the alleged kidnapping took place.
Before heading to the railway station, Hafiz Zeeshan and his family had visited his in-laws in Lahore’s Shah Di Khui area. After their visit, they proceeded toward the railway station to begin their journey back to Haripur.
However, according to the complainant, the family disappeared before they could leave for their hometown.
No trace of family after three days
The complainant stated in the FIR that three days had passed since the alleged kidnapping, but the family had not yet been located.
Efforts were made to contact relatives and family members, but no information regarding Hafiz Zeeshan, his wife or their children could be obtained.
The complainant further stated that all possible contacts had been approached, yet no one had any knowledge of the family's whereabouts. The complainant has urged senior police officials and relevant authorities to take immediate action to locate Hafiz Zeeshan and his family.
The FIR includes a request for the swift recovery of the missing official, his wife and their two children.
